LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) ? Longtime Sony Pictures executive Scott Shooman has been hired by CBS Films as executive vice president of acquisitions, the studio announced on Thursday.
Shooman will report to CBS Films chief operating officer Wolfgang Hammer and be responsible for the studio's acquisition operations.
Shooman joins the studio following a decade at Sony Pictures, where he rose to the level of vice president of acquisitions and productions.
